Although it is too late to register or change party affiliation for the primary, residents have until Wednesday, October 15, 2008 to register for the November 4 General Election. The Town Clerk's office will remain open from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. In the Democratic primary, Senatory Kerry is being challenged by Ed O'Reilly. Congressman Steven Lynch is unopposed. As there is no Republican candidate running in 9th Congressional District, it appears Lynch will be easily reelected. The Mass Legislative races are all unopposed (Senator Walsh and Representative McMurtry have no primary challengers and no Republican opposition). | ||
