Fox25 is making a Zip Trip to Westwood on Friday, August 22 and will broadcast live from Buckmaster Pond from 6:00am to 9:00am. A Zip Trip is when the Fox25 morning news team broadcasts live from a community in Massachusetts. It should be a really fun morning with some special guest appearances. It is certain to be a memorable community event, and a great opportunity to showcase the Town of Westwood.

Reach out and Read

Bring a new children's book to the Westwood Zip Trip! The FOX25 Morning News crew will be collecting BRAND NEW BOOKS for young children during the Zip Trip broadcast. Residents, community groups, businesses and guests attending the Zip Trip are all invited to drop-off a brand new book. The new books will benefit Reach Out and Read, a non-profit literacy program with locations all over New England. The Reach Out and Read program distributes new books to area hospitals, health centers, pediatricians and family-care doctors. The books are given out during primary check-ups.
